Ehud Ya'ari

Ehud Ya’ari is Israel’s foremost political commentator and journalist. Ya'ari is the MIddle East commentator for Channel 2 television, an associate editor of the Jerusalem Report, and the author of eight books on the Arab-Israeli conflict. Ehud Yaari has interviewed most of the recent and past Arab & Israeli leaders including Yasser Arafat, King Hussein of Jordan, President Mubarak of Egypt, Bashar al-Assad, Muammar al-Gaddafi and all Israeli Prime Ministers since Menachem Begin. Among his numerous awards for journalism are the Israeli Press Editors-in-Chief prize for coverage of the peace process with Egypt, the Sokolov Prize for coverage of the first Lebanon War, and the Israel Broadcasting Award for coverage of the first Gulf War.

Eli Yerushalmi

Currently the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Israel in Canberra, Eli has served in diplomatic posts including Alexandria, Houston, Ottawa and London. His experience in Israel included Head of Deputy Foreign Minister's Bureau, Instructor at Israel's National Defense College, Deputy Director of Religious Affairs Departments and Director of the Jewish Communities Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Y-Love

Y-Love is a Hassidic hip-hop star and one of the most sought after performers in the USA's growing Jewish hip-hop scene. He connected to his Judaism during his youth and began memorising Talmudic texts via rap while learning at Yeshiva. These days, he translates his faith into freestyle rhymes and danceable beats for diverse audiences. Y-Love is accompanied by Erez Safar (aka Diwon, formerly DJ Handler), who brings together textural fusions of live and recorded sound inspired by music from various cultural backgrounds.

Ian Young 

Dr Ian Young is a Senior Lecturer in Classical (Biblical) Hebrew and Biblical Studies at the University of Sydney. His main fields of interest are the language of the Hebrew Bible, especially linguistic dating of biblical books; textual criticism of the Hebrew Bible; and canonisation of the Hebrew Bible.

Elan Zavelsky

Elan Zavelsky is one of Australia’s hot up-and-coming actors. Since graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2007, Elan has appeared in a substantial number of diverse roles. His recent work includes 'East' (theatre), 'False Witness' (mini-series) and 'Underbelly' (television).

Ghil'ad Zuckermann

Ghil'ad Zuckermann, DPhil (Oxford), PhD (Cambridge) (titular), MA (Tel Aviv) (summa cum laude), is Associate Professor and Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Fellow at the University of Queensland. He has taught in Israel, Singapore, the UK, the USA and Australia and has held senior research posts in Cambridge (England), Melbourne, Austin (Texas), Bellagio (Italy) and Tokyo.
