Rina (pen-name: Renate) is an artist, poet and author and a reviewer of several books. A veteran of Israel's 1948 action (Palmach-Yiftach), she is a retired RN, a chiropractic radiologist and a clinic administrator. She is also a yacht builder and the holder of a navigation and seamanship certificate and a day skipper certificate. Married for 55 years, Renate is a mother and grandmother who has lived in Australia since 1956.
