Gael Hammer

Gael's professional life began as a teacher in Melbourne. She changed careers in the 1980s, becoming a relationship counsellor. She is actively involved with the Sydney Jewish Museum as a guide and guide trainer and with the Kosher Consumers Association, Sydney Women's Tefillah Group, Mandelbaum House Academic Committee and J-Junction Introduction Service. Gael is a reviewer for the 'Australian Jewish News'.

Laurence Harrould

Laurence has been consulting and teaching astrology for over 30 years. In 1979 he ran a national conference called 'Recent Advances in Natal Astrology'. He now works as a business coach, with an emphasis on bringing personal purpose and meaning into the workplace and small businesses.  Laurence Harrold

Debbie Haski-Leventhal

Debbie gained her MA and PhD in the management of nonprofit organisations from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her doctoral dissertation focused on organisational socialisation of volunteers. She has twice gained the Emerging Scholar Award from ARNOVA. Debbie is now a NAB Research Fellow in the Centre for Social Impact, Australian School of Business, UNSW. Dabbie Haski-Leventhal

Alex Hawke

Alex Hawke is the Federal Member for Mitchell in Sydney's North-West. Alex served as Federal Young Liberals President and NSW Young Liberals President and as an Adviser to several senior State and Federal politicians. He was also an Officer in the Australian Army Reserve. Alex Hawke

Tarryn Hersh

I am an ex-madricha of Bnei Akiva, spent a year in Israel learning at a Midrasha and am passionate about Israel and Torah. I am currently finishing a degree in primary education.

Jenny Hillman

Simon Holloway

After receiving his BA in Communication, Simon spent two years in Israel, where he attended Mayanot Institute of Jewish Studies and Yeshivat Ohr Somayach. As of 2009, Simon is three years into his PhD (Classical Hebrew and Biblical Studies) and is the Director of Education at North Shore Temple Emanuel. His research interests include the 'interface' between linguistics and literary criticism. 

Benji Holzman 

Benjamin Holzman, former Federal Director of Education for Habonim Dror Australia, has studied History, Political Science and International Development at universities in Australia and Canada. He currently works for the State Zionist Council, blogs for the 'Australian Jewish News' and runs an independent Progressive Friday night minyan.  Benji Holzman

Gary Holzman

An intellectual property lawyer and Melton graduate, Gary has a vast knowledge of and all-consuming passion for rock music in its many and varied forms. Gary has presented 'The Jewish School of Rock' course for several years at both Shalom College and North Shore Temple Emanuel.  Gary Holzman

Olga Horak

Born in Bratislava in 1926, Olga Horak grew up in a well-established, traditional Jewish family. In 1939 life changed drastically for Jewish citizens with the creation of the Slovak puppet republic. Olga was deported to Auschwitz with her father and mother, then to a series of camps, ending up in Bergen-Belsen. Olga was her family's only survivor - but where was she to go? Monica Hyams

Monica Hyams is Education Director at Temple Beth Israel in Melbourne with 20 years of teaching experience. Having been involved with Netzer since its inception, Monica has a long history within the Progressive Movement.
