Timothy Daly

Timothy Daly, is the author of Kafka Dances, the most internationally-performed Australian play of the last three decades. It is currently playing in France, and in July, 2009 goes to the prestigious Avignon Festival, and Poland in 2010. His latest play, the prize-winning The Man in the Attic has just received its American premiere.    Tim Daly

Michael Danby

Michael Danby has been Member for Melbourne Ports since 1998 and is one of the only Jewish federal MPs. Since his election, Michael has concentrated on issues of importance to his electorate, particularly child care, immigration and, more recently, climate change. He is also well-known as an advocate for human rights and frequently speaks on issues such as Tibet and Darfur.    

Samantha Dancis

Samantha Dancis is a third-year undergraduate History major at Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA. During her studies in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, she wrote her paper on the changes in the racial positioning of South African Jews from 1900 to 2008.

Limor Dekel

Limor Dekel is an experienced art teacher. She graduated from Hamidrasha School of Art in Ramat-Hasharon, Israel. In addition to a Masters in Counselling and a BEd in Art & Special Education, she has over 14 years experience as a senior art teacher, a special education teacher and an educational counsellor in junior high school in Israel. Since her arrival in Australia, Limor has organised and conducted successful art workshops for children and adults in the local community. She is currently a postgraduate student with the Sydney College of Art at the University of Sydney.

UK born, Israeli trained Social Worker. CEO of Jewish Care for 17 years; director of Plum Partnerships, raising funds for Israel; CEO of Emanuel Synagogue and, since last year, Executive Director of the Union for Progressive Judaism.  

Idan Dershowitz

Idan Dershowitz lectures in the fields of Bible Studies and Biblical Hebrew. He is currently researching the compilation of the book of Genesis.                                                       Idan Dershowitz 

Dahlia Dior 

Dahlia Dior was born in Jerusalem. Her family comprises a long line of Sephardi and Ashkenazi scholars and community leaders. Dahlia sings in 24 languages and has performed around the world. Dahlia gained her Master's in Ethnomusicology at Macquarie University. She is also a Justice of the Peace and a civil marriage celebrant. Dahlia Dior

Andrew Dziedzic

Raised in Albury, NSW, as a Catholic son of Polish immigrants, Andrew rejected Catholicism at age 12 and became a lawyer in Sydney, married and had three children. Then, when he had turned 41, his mother told him she was Jewish and the journey he has since undertaken has become the subject of his story. Andrew Dziedzic
