Jasmina Bajraktarevic

Jasmina came to Australia in 1993 as a refugee from Bosnia-Herzegovina. A social worker by training, she is currently the Community Services Coordinator at the NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS).

Mark Baker

Mark Baker is Director of the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation at Monash University and Associate Professor of Holocaust and Genocide studies in the School of Historical Studies.  He teaches and writes widely on Jewish affairs and is the author of the prize-winning book, The Fiftieth Gate (Harper Collins, 1997).

Elizabeth Ban

Elizabeth Ban is a writer and freelance journalist. She is a member of Jews for Social Action.

Sue Beecher

Sue Beecher holds regular Kabbalah meditation classes at Emanuel Synagogue. She is a psychologist and social worker with over 30 years' experience as a therapist, health worker, management trainer, university lecturer in medicine and social work, author, executive coach, and meditation teacher. In Rozelle Sue teaches meditation, personal development, spiritual growth and healing.

Lynda Ben-Menashe 

Lynda Ben-Menashe is Education Manager, NSW Jewish Board of Deputies. In this role Lynda represents the Jewish community in the wider NSW education sector, with a focus on bridge-building through intercultural programming for schools and the provision of teaching resources for Judaism, Holocaust and Israel studies. Her specialities are curriculum design and Israel education.

Danny Beran

Danny has served in the Health Care, Community and Education sectors for almost 30 years. He has learnings in medicine, finance and corporate governance, and currently serves as a medical administrator, clinician, university lecturer and marriage celebrant. He recently wrote '10 Questions You Must Answer Before You Die'.

Yanky Berger

Yanky Berger is a Rabbi and the Director of Chabad Double Bay and of the Kornmehl Family Hebrew school.  He lectures on a variety of Jewish subjects including the Talmud, Chassidus and Jewish Mysticism..

Michael Bloom

Michael Bloom has been playing guitar for 28 years and composing songs for 13 years. He estimates he has written 700 songs. In the last five years he has become a baal teshuva (returned to Jewish observance). Join him on a musical journey through life, love and connection to G-d.

Dave Bloustein

Award-winning comedy writer, grand-champion improvisor, lover, fighter, candlestick-maker, amateur sleuth, and professional derring-doer. Outside of his own head, Dave is actually part of the award-winning writing team on ABCTV's The Glass House, as well as The Side Show, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Great Debates, the new Good News Week and more.

Anthony Boskovitz

Anthony Boskovitz is a 26-year-old Economics graduate and Masters of Law student. He is heavily involved with his local community, having served as a Liberal Councillor in the Woollahra Council for over five years.

Anthony Bubalo

Anthony Bubalo is Program Director, West Asia at the Lowy Institute for International Policy in Sydney, Australia. His principal research interest is the politics of the Middle East. Key themes of his work include Islamism, democratisation and Middle East-Asia linkages. Before joining the Lowy Institute Anthony worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and served in Australian diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia and Israel, as a Senior Middle East Analyst with the Office of National Assessments, as director of the Policy and Coordination Unit of the Australian government's Iraq Task Force and as DFAT's Senior Speechwriter.

Angela Budai 

Angela Budai is a civil marriage celebrant. She is also an elected member of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and a founding member of Jews Against the Occupation. Angela is involved in the work of North Shore Temple Emanuel’s Social Justice Committee and is a graduate of Shnat Netzer.
